Family practice is a medical specialty, which provides continuing and comprehensive health care for each member of the family individually and as a group. A board certified family physician is a doctor who undergoes a three-year residency in family practice and then passes a Board Exam given by The American Academy of Family Practice. Continuing education allows Dr. Decker to remain a Board Certified Diplomate of The American Academy of Family Practice in good standing.
